GRACENOTE - a great site for typing in a bit of information and getting complete information about almost any CD.

iClassics - Features several major classical music labels: Broadway Music, Decca, Philips, Deutsche Grammophon, and ECM. Commercial site has some nice features such as composers bios, and a glossary of classical music.

Sony Classical - Sony Classical provides many artist biographies, and other worthwhile information about its recordings. Because the label is such a major force in the music business, this one is useful and fun to browse.

NAXOS RECORDS offers the classical repertoire on budget priced compact discs. Most of their CDs are rated tops in quality for both performance and recording, and ranked among the very best versions available. The price is around six dollars (U.S.) per disc. The site also offers: Classical Music 'A - Z' and 'A - Z' of Opera; Composers' Bios and their Works; an Artist Gallery; Music in Movies; a Glossary of Musical Terms; and a Classical Music Start-Up Kit.
