PBS presents Ken Burn's JAZZ - JAZZ, as per Wynton Marsalis, is "America's CLASSICAL MUSIC." Here it is, the long awaited series documenting Jazz and its development in America. Ken Burns does the best documentary films of our generation! Although the series doesn't include everyone, and there are some unfortunate omissions, this is still truly a marvelous achievement - and a great way to start learning jazz history. The site includes biographies of many major Jazz personalities and a breakdown of the historical phases of jazz.

keyword/phrase search box and has links to many other fine jazz sites.

MOSAIC RECORDS AND CDs -"Limited Edition Jazz Collections" meticulously produced, are the finest jazz collections available, and most of them seem to go up in value once the editions sell out. I have begun collecting these, and have yet to be less than delighted with a purchase from their online catalog. In my opinion, the best of the best!
JAZZ HALL OF FAME - This is a full featured Jazz site, that has much more than the name implies..... Nice browser and a fantastic "JAZZOLOGY" search feature, for locating specific information.
